Meet Leah Frankel

After a 30-year corporate career with L’Oréal USA, Leah Frankel made a bold career reinvention by becoming an elementary school educator. Today, she speaks and writes about leadership, multigenerational mentoring, confidence, and navigating life’s major transitions with purpose.

Leah spent three decades with L’Oréal USA, ultimately serving as Assistant Vice President of Sales Operations. Her expertise in budgeting, forecasting and expense management, combined with her leadership and business experience, helped shape a highly successful corporate career.

But Leah’s story didn’t end when she left the corporate world. Drawing upon the skills, discipline and confidence developed throughout her career, she took an unexpected turn—into the elementary school classroom, where she now teaches math. The transition from corporate executive to educator gave Leah a firsthand understanding of what it means to build an entirely new identity while continuing to use the experience and skills acquired over a lifetime.

Today, Leah brings together lessons from two very different worlds and generations. Through her speaking and writing, she shares a unique perspective on bold reinvention, leadership, confidence and creating a meaningful next chapter.

Leah has been a keynote speaker at professional women’s events and a guest speaker at the Adelphi University and Hofstra University Schools of Business, where she has shared her perspectives on how integrity, grit and determination can help drive success.
